KOCHI: The High Court has rejected the plea of former minister KB Ganesh Kumar who was seeking to dismiss the case against him related to the solar issue. The case, which is in the Kottarakkara First Class Magistrate Court, alleges that there were additions made to the complainant's letter in the solar case and that there was a conspiracy involved.
Justice PV Kunjikrishnan in his ruling stated that for justice to prevail in this case, it must proceed and reach a legal conclusion. He also added that if the accusations against the petitioner are false it will demonstrate the honesty of MLA Ganesh Kumar. The opposing parties in this case are Advocate KB Ganesh Kumar and the complainant Sudhir Jacob in the solar case.
The Kottarakkara 1st Class Judicial Magistrate Court had previously ordered Ganesh Kumar to appear in person in response to the allegations of tampering with the letter presented by the complainant before the Solar Commission. The Kottarakkara court, upon finding merit in the complaint registered the case as number 624-2021.
