KIEV: Allegations of mass killings of Russian soldiers have emerged. The United States is accused of executing those who refuse to obey orders regarding the Ukraine war. The White House through spokesperson John Kirby confirmed having evidence.
Kirby stated, ‘We possess information indicating that the Russian military has executed soldiers who refused orders. Any attempt to flee the battlefield or retreat from artillery fire results in the entire unit being killed.’
Kirby further alleged that Russian commanders have issued threats of execution. Russian soldiers appear disillusioned by the protracted war which began in February 2022. Reports have suggested that some Russian soldiers are attempting to leave the front lines due to shortages of weapons and food.
Both sides are launching strong offensives to gain control of territories. Fierce battles are ongoing in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk. A counter-offensive by Ukrainian forces reportedly left over 500 Russian soldiers injured.
Kirby also claimed that Russian troops on the Ukrainian front lack adequate training. He mentioned that Russia is deploying undertrained soldiers to the front lines. The White House revealed this new information about Russia on the same day the US announced a 150 million dollars military aid package for Ukraine.
