CHENNAI: Taking a dig at Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin sarcastically demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah not to remove him till the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"Today someone (Governor) sitting in a big position is asking things. Firstly, that post is itself a waste. He is asking questions like what is 'Dravidam' while he sits in his Raj Bhavan. I wish that this person who is peddling lies and asking questions like 'What is Dravidam' should continue being here as this is going to help us in campaigning," said Stalin.

MK Stalin's reaction came after the Raj Bhavan alleged that the police did not register a complaint in the incident of a bomb attack on the Raj Bhavan. Stalin said that everyone knew that the Governor had been telling lies for the last two days.

In a statement, the Governor had said that the police did not register a case on the complaint and an attempt was being made to downplay the bomb attack on Raj Bhavan. He also alleged that the police closed the case even before they started the investigation.
