GAZA: The number of people killed in the Israeli attack on Gaza has crossed 7028. The Ministry of Health in Gaza has released the names of those killed. The document containing the details of 6747 people has been published. The Hamas-run Health Ministry released information including names, ages, genders and identification numbers of those killed. 2665 people in the list are children. As 281 of those killed could not be identified, information about them was not published at this time, the ministry said.
The list does not include those trapped in the rubble of buildings destroyed by Israel's attacks and those who are missing. Their official figures have not been released. Hamas released the names of those killed after US President Joe Biden's response that he did not believe the death rate of Palestinians in Gaza.
"I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed," Biden said in response to questions from reporters at the White House. "I'm sure innocents have been killed and it's the price of waging a war. The Israelites should be incredibly careful to be sure that they're focusing on going after the folks that are propagating this war against Israel and it's against their interest when that doesn't happen but I have no confidence in the number that the Palestinians are using." Biden added. Biden was responding, pointing to the figures released by the Hamas Health Ministry earlier that the death toll in Gaza had exceeded 6,500.
