THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Higher Education Minister R Bindu lashed out at actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi for misbehaving towards a woman journalist. The minister responded that Suresh Gopi's behaviour was reprehensible. The minister also alleged that Suresh Gopi behaved in a sense of feudal superiority.

R Bindu stated that what Suresh Gopi did was literally push the woman journalist to the sidelines. "Suresh Gopi showed his intolerance towards questions. Through his behaviour, Suresh Gopi conveyed that no one should act over-smart by questioning him much. His mind is filled with outdated values," R Bindu said.

"Suresh Gopi had earlier claimed that he had provided educational facilities to a tribal child. However, Minister Radhakrishnan clarified that it was the government that provided facilities for the child. Suresh Gopi is a person who distorts words," the minister added.
