KOCHI: Mystery deepens in blasts series at Jehovah's Witnesses convention in Kalamassery. The mystery is about the blue car that left the convention centre just before the blast. The RC number of the car was clear from the CCTV footage. However, it is reported that this number belongs to a white car belonging to a Chengannur resident. The owner's father says that the car hasn't left the house for days. The car has been shifted to Chengannur police station.

The blue car was not found despite extensive search. It is believed that the person who planted the explosives may have escaped in this blue car. Some of those injured in the blast have testified that they saw a man wandering around with a bag at the Zamra International Convention Center where the blast took place. This is also being investigated.

Meanwhile, Dominic Martin, who surrendered at the Thrissur Kodakara police station claiming to have planted a bomb in the convention centre, said that he is also a Jehovah's Witnesses believer. Martin's response was through a Facebook video.

'I have been a believer in the same church for sixteen years. Years ago it was realized that Jehovah's Witnesses were spreading seditious ideas. I asked for correction several times but it never happened. People like me will react against this,' says Martin in the video released just before surrendering.

He claims that he has proof of planting the bomb. Martin has been transferred to the police club and is being interrogated in detail. Although the name of the woman who died in the blast has been released, no further information about her has come out. There are unconfirmed reports that the deceased's name is Libina. An investigation is going on focusing on her. The ADGP had responded that a suspected lady died in the blast. Meanwhile, a thorough investigation has been launched into the blast. As part of this, central agencies including NIA have also reached the state. The state anti-terrorism squad is also investigating the case. The Chief Minister has also announced that a thorough investigation will be conducted into the incident.

The police suspect that the explosions were test doses. The initial conclusion of the police is that a low-powered tiffin box bomb was used for the blast. The bomb was made very skillfully. Police have confirmed that an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) was used for the blast. It is suspected that the attack was planned. The police have collected all the information as part of the investigation. They are assessing that there is a special purpose in choosing Jehovah's Witnesses' convention venue for the blast.
