THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of Keralaeeyam, 22 popular films will be screened at the Malayalam Film Festival organized by the Film Academy in collaboration with KSFDC. Films that have received state and national awards in the category of artistic and popular films and hit films that flooded the theatres in the past will be screened.
Films like Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Godfather, Manichitrathazhu, Vaisali, Nakhakshathangal, Perumthachan, Kireedam, 1921, Manjil Virinja Pookkal, Yathra, Anubhavangal Paalichakal, Oru Minnaminunginte Nurunguvettam, Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu, Kolilakkam, Madanolsavam, Pranchiyettan & the Saint will be screened. There will be four shows at Kairali Theater from November 2nd to 7th.
A total of 100 films will be exhibited in the seven-day festival. The screening is divided into classic films, children's films, women's films, popular films and documentaries. The four theatres will have four shows daily. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
