THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After ousting Congress veteran Shashi Tharoor, now the Mahal empowerment mission has avoided CPM politburo member M A Baby from the Palestine Solidarity Rally scheduled to take place on Monday. The event will take place on Monday at 4pm on Palayam Raktasakshi mandapam. Akin to Shashi Tharoor’s exclusion from the event, M A Baby was also shown the door after he criticized the Hamas fighters acerbically. MEM Chairman Dr P. Nasir confirmed M A Baby’s exclusion.

South Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama General Secretary Thodiyoor Muhammed Kunju Moulavi will inaugurate the event. MEM General Secretary E. Shahjahan Sreekaryam informed that prominent religious and cultural leaders and Mahalla Jamaat office-bearers will participate in the Palestine solidarity meeting. Baby’s exclusion from the event happened after strong protests emanated within the Mahal regarding the untoward comments raised by the CPM man against Hamas.
