NEW DELHI: Anju of Rajasthan, who married her Facebook friend in Pakistan, is returning to India. 34-year-old Anju befriended Nasrullah (29) from Pakhtunkhwa village in Pakistan in 2019. She travelled to Pakistan to marry him. Her visa was extended for one year in last August. Anju converted to Islam and changed her name to Fatima.

‘Presently waiting for the no objection certificate from the Ministry of Interior, Islamabad. An application has been made for this. It will take some time to complete the process,’ Nasrullah told the media. He informed that Anju will return to Pakistan soon after meeting her two children.

Anju was previously married to Arvind. They have a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.
