KOCHI: In the context of the Kalamassery blast case, a resolution was unanimously passed during the all-party meeting led by the Chief Minister. Opposition leader V D Satheesan expressed solidarity with the government emphasizing the need to enhance surveillance to prevent similar incidents in the future. He made these remarks while speaking to the media following the all-party meeting convened by the Chief Minister.
V D Satheesan asserted that there was no intelligence failure in the Kalamassery incident. The opposition leader also criticized a political leader for prematurely linking the incident to Palestine without proper information.
BJP General Secretary Krishna Kumar called for a broader investigation by the NIA suggesting that Dominic Martin might not be the sole person responsible for the blast. He also criticized CPM State Secretary M V Govindan who initially claimed a terrorist connection in the incident.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister arrived in Kalamassery by helicopter and is set to visit the injured individuals. M V Govindan and other ministers are accompanying the Chief Minister.
