Film director Alphonse Puthren has announced the end of his film career in a social media post. In an Instagram message, he revealed he has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and does not wish to burden anyone.
"I am ending my film career. I recently discovered that I have autism spectrum disorder. I don't want to be a burden. I will continue making short films, videos, songs and occasionally work with OTT platforms. Quitting the film industry is a difficult decision but there's no other option. I don't want to make promises I can't keep. Life can throw unexpected twists when health is compromised," clarified Alphonse in his note.
