VIZHINJAM: Two were arrested for seriously injuring a middle-aged man by smashing him with rocks. The two were taken into custody from Vazhamuttom. Al Amin (24) and Ranjith (32) were arrested for the crime. Both are natives of Vithura.

On Sunday, there was a ruckus after some construction workers who were working at a site in Vazhamuttom created chaos after getting drunk. The neighbours questioned the disturbance which led to a physical attack. Thuppanathu Kavu native Binu(52) was injured in the fight. His nose got fractured in the attack.
