GAZA: More than 100 people have lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.The death toll is expected to rise. About one hundred and fifty people were injured. The residential block in the camp was destroyed by the Israeli attack. Six aerial bombs were used for the attack. The Gaza Health Ministry has labelled it as Israel's deadliest assault on a refugee camp and stated that numerous people are still trapped in the rubble.

Meanwhile, Israel has not responded to the attack. Israel has previously attacked refugee camps in Gaza. Jabalia is one of the largest refugee camps in the region, with the United Nations reporting that as of July 2023, approximately 116,000 people were registered there. In the aftermath of the attack, video footage capturing the efforts of many individuals engaged in rescue operations is circulating on social media platforms.
