NEW DELHI: Film stars contesting elections is no new and joining the bandwagon may be national award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut. The actress visited the Dwarkadhish temple on Saturday and when approached by media, she said that if lord Krishna blesses, there is a chance for her to contest in the next Lok Sabha elections.

The actress was responding to the questions of the journalists while she came for darshan at the temple. It is reported that Kangana may contest the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi.

“ With the blessings of lord Krishna, I will fight( elections). It was only through a capable BJP government that the Ram mandir turned a reality after gruelling 600 years of wait” Kangana added.

The actress added that the temple would be established with a grand celebration and demanded the flag of Sanatana Dharma to be hoisted all over the world. Mandi is one of the four Lok Sabha constituencies in Himachal Pradesh. BJP's Ram Swaroop Sharma is currently the Lok Sabha member from the constituency. In 2014, BJP captured the constituency which was held by Congress from 2004 to 2013.
