ODANAVATTOM:A youth was arrested by the police for spreading obscene images of women on social media created using AI.Saji (21), a native of Maruthamonpally was arrested by Pooyapally police.

According to the police, the accused downloaded images of girls, women, and actresses from various social media platforms and morphed them into obscene images. The Pooyapally police had registered a case under POCSO against him for creating a fake Instagram account and uploading obscene pictures of a minor girl. Ezhukone police had also registered a case for morphing the pictures of a college student into obscene images.

The accused was arrested by a team led by Pooyapally and Ezhukon SHOs, Pooyapally SHO ST Biju, SI AR Abhilash, ASI Kishore, CPOs Bineesh and Anwar under the instructions of Kollam Rural District Police Chief ML Sunil's. The court has remanded the accused.
