THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Although the Kerala Congress(B) had given a letter asking for representation in the cabinet as per the previous understanding in the LDF, the CPM are of the opinion that it is enough to have the cabinet reshuffle after the Nava Kerala sadas. The reorganization talks will be active after the Nava Kerala sadas which will be held from November 18 to December 24, where the chief minister and ministers will be covering all 140 assembly constituencies. CPM state secretary MV Govindan told the media that the government and the leadership will take a decision on the issue. The organization of Nava Kerala sadas includes current ministers. The LDF meeting on 10th to assess the preparations of Nava Kerala sadas will discuss the matter but the decision will be postponed.

It was agreed that at the end of two-and-a-half years of the ministry's term, the current Democratic Kerala Congress and INL representatives Antony Raju and Ahamed Devarkovil will be replaced by Congress (S) and Kerala Congress (B) representatives Ramachandran Kadannappalli and Ganesh Kumar as ministers. Kerala Congress(B) had given a letter to CPM state secretary and LDF convener on the occasion of the completion of two and a half years on the 20th of this month.

Ganesh matter will have to be discussed

With the ongoing solar conspiracy case in the name of KB Ganesh Kumar, this issue will have to be discussed separately at the front. Allegations have also been levelled against Ganesh in connection with the controversial letter that led to the indictment of another constituent, Kerala Congress(M) leader Jos K Mani. Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan has also sent a letter noting that Ganesh Kumar should not be given a ministerial post due to the CBI report's reference and related revelations that Ganesh Kumar intervened to implicate former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the case.

Although the CPM and LDF are considering a change in the cabinet as per the previous agreement, RJD and RSP (Leninist) have also sent letters earlier asking for the ministerial post. Although the party leadership is not interested, NCP MLA Thomas K. Thomas is also seeking ministership.
