DUBAI: Indian players Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj topped the International Cricket Council's ODI batsman-bowler rankings with their brilliant performance in the ongoing World Cup. Gill dethroned Pakistan captain Babar Azam to take over the top spot in the list of batsmen. Siraj took over the top spot in Bowler's rankings by climbing two spots.

Shubman Gill scored 1449 runs in 26 ODIs this year. This includes four centuries, including a double century. So far, Gill has scored 219 runs in six matches, including two half-centuries.

With two centuries and four half-centuries in the World Cup, Virat Kohli has climbed three spots to fourth in the list of batsmen. Virat is now behind Gill, Babar and Quinton de Kock. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma remains at the fifth rank.

Pacer Mohammed Siraj with his stellar form at the World Cup 2023 dethroned Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi to take over the top spot in the ICC Men's ODI Bowlers Rankings. Spinners Keshav Maharaj and Adam Zampa rose to the second and third positions. Meanwhile, Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav (moved up three places to fourth), Jasprit Bumrah (moved up three spots to eighth) and Mohammed Shami (jumped seven places to 10th) sealed their place within the top 10.
