WASHINGTON: A former high school teacher in the United States has been arrested for having sex with a fourteen-year-old student. Thirty-one-year-old Melissa Marie Curtis was arrested. The incident took place eight years ago.

In 2015, the woman was a teacher in a high school in America. The then fourteen-year-old student has now come forward with a complaint. The complaint is that the sexual assault took place from January to May 2015.

Police found that the then eighth grader was given alcohol and ganja and had sex with him more than 20 times. The sexual assault took place in the accused's house and vehicle. The accused was a teacher in that school for two years. Apart from the fourteen-year-old, the police are investigating whether anyone else has been subjected to similar exploitation.
