THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police has stated that the bomb threat received at the Secretariat is fake. Nithin, a Thiruvananthapuram resident, has been identified as the person who called police headquarters and left the threatening message.
It is reported that Nithin had been undergoing treatment for mental illness. The police had conducted an extensive search after receiving a threat message that a bomb had been placed in the secretariat.
The investigation was led by the bomb squad. Reports say that nothing unusual was found in the search. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had received a threat message on 112 number last week. On investigation, it was found that a boy is behind the call.
