Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra is muddled in the infamous cash-for-query case. The Lok Sabha ethics committee has also recommended the expulsion of this TMC MP from Krishnanagar. Even Congress MP Preneet Kaur voted for the expulsion of Moitra from parliament. While this case is scaling headlines in prime-time debates, there is one such news connecting Mahua Moitra that is simply not getting the required limelight it deserves.
Supreme Court lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai, who brought out the cash-for-query case connecting Mahua has finally got back his Rottweiler named Henry, which Jai says was stolen from him by Mahua. Jai Anant Dehadrai is the former boyfriend of Mahua Moitra. After their split, it is said that Mahua forcedly took away the Rottweiler from Jai.
On Thursday, Jai posted on social media platform X about his pet dog 'Henry' returning to him after a long custody battle. The canine was exuberant seeing his old master and was juggling his way to reach Jai, who was seated on a couch. TMC MP Mahua Moitra used to often post videos of Henry on Instagram and on other social media accounts. However, netizens always took a jibe at her for the desolate reactions Henry mostly gave in those videos with Mahua. Many comments pointed out that Henry was stolen from Jai and the dog was not happy being with Mahua.
Dehadrai made headlines earlier after he wrote a letter saying he had "irrefutable evidence" of Mahua taking gifts from business magnate Darshan Hiranandani to ask questions in parliament. Recently, Dehadrai revealed about getting threatening messages to solve this issue as he said the other side is coercing him to take back the complaint in exchange for Henry.
Welcome back Henry!
