ISLAMABAD: Former Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Akram Khan was shot dead in Pakistan. Akram Khan aka Akram Ghazi was killed in an attack by unidentified assailants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He was the head of Lashkar's recruitment cell from 2018 to 2020. Akram Khan was notorious for his harsh anti-India speeches.

Pathankot attack mastermind Shahid Latif was shot dead in Pakistan in October. Latif was the handler of the four terrorists who infiltrated and attacked the Pathankot Air Base in 2016. In September, Abu Qasim alias Riyaz Ahmed, one of the masterminds of the Dhangri terror attack, was shot dead by unknown assailants in a mosque in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
