HYDERABAD: The AICC has blocked the rebel movement in Telangana, one of the states where the Congress has a chance of winning and determining the course of national politics. Although the results of the survey raised the hopes of Congress, the rift among leaders seems to be an issue. The Congress leadership considers it an achievement that they were able to cool down the fumes for not getting seat in the elections.
After the announcement of the list of candidates, there was an uproar among the aspirants. The rebel movement arose in the Congress when there were strong signs that the Congress would gain power. The AICC leadership, which has taken up the task of nipling the thorn in the bud and preparing the ground for victory, has given a strict instruction to the state leadership that everyone should work together in the campaign to form the Congress government in Telangana.
Since the distance between the leaders has increased after the announcement of the candidates, the high command has stepped forward to resolve the difference of opinion among the leaders. Therefore, the party's national leadership is taking their protest seriously.
AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge asked KC Venugopal to come to Hyderabad after the Telangana PCC leadership and AICC leadership in charge of the state failed to persuade the rebels. KC Venugopal, who came from Delhi to Hyderabad to talk to the rebel leaders who raised the protest and convince them through reconciliation, met with those who raised the riot flag the other day.
He interacted with MLA and PCC Working President T Jagga Reddy, G Chinna Reddy, Vijay Bai, Former Union Minister Balram Naik, Bellaiah Naik, Shivasena Reddy, NSUI State President Venkat Balmur, Husnabad, Nuthi Srikanth, N Preetham, Gali Anil Kumar, Anjaneya Goud, Challa Narasimha Reddy, Parijata Narasimha Reddy, Sriramulu Naik, Amar Javed, Sanjeeva Reddy and Naresh Jadhav.

In the meeting with the leaders, Venugopal also shared a warning that strict action will be taken against those who tarnish the chances of Congress' victory and violate party discipline. After the meeting with KC Venugopal, the leaders who abandoned the rebel movement also announced that they will work unitedly for the success of the Congress candidates.
The Congress is gearing up for the election campaign by announcing welfare promises to the people of Telangana. The results of the survey indicate that the Congress will get a majority of 60 seats in the 119-member assembly.
