THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The LDF is preparing to protest at the national and state levels against the neglect shown to Kerala by the central government. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and others will participate in the rally held in Delhi as part of the national-level agitation. LDF convener EP Jayarajan informed that the protest will be organized in January.
Jayarajan also stated that conventions will be organized at the state level. The convention will be held from November 18 to December 24 during the 'Nava Kerala' gathering led by the Chief Minister and other ministers. Programs including seminars will also be held in every district. Non-Left Front activists will also participate in the program. "The Centre is neglecting Kerala and not even giving the benefits it deserves. Convention is against this. The state has requested new trains, replacing old coaches with new ones, giving a fair price for rubber.", Jayarajan said.
The state government will liaise with non-BJP governments in other states in the struggle against central neglect.
"Kerala Finance Minister will visit these states and assess their situation.", Jayarajan added.
