KOCHI: Dominic Martin, the accused in the Kalamassery blast case underwent detailed questioning by the investigation team for an hour yesterday. He reiterated his claim of being the sole perpetrator of the blast. Statements from Dominic's friends will be recorded and his financial information has been gathered. The remaining evidence is set to be finalized today.

On the following day, evidence will be collected at the petrol pumps where fuel was purchased to intensify the impact of the IED blast at the Jehovah's Witnesses convention and at Dominic's Tammanam home. Seven-liter petrol bottles were discovered in the accused's apartment in Athani.

Reena (Sally, 46), the wife of Pradeep who lost her life in the blast, will be cremated today at the Kudavankuzhi house in Malayatur. In the morning, her body will be available for public viewing at St. Thomas Church Parish Hall in Malayatur Atiwaram. Following the funeral services, she will be interred at the Jehovah Witnesses Cemetery in Chalakudy Kitingara on the 11th. Reena was the mother of 12-year-old Libna, who succumbed to burns. Their younger son Rahul, undergoing burn treatment was discharged from the hospital yesterday. The condition of the elder son Praveen remains critical. Seventeen individuals are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals.
