The Thunderbolt squad and Maoists clashed last Wednesday night in Chapparath. The police and Thunderbolt had searched the Thalapuzha forest area for the last few days to catch the three people who escaped from the incident site.

The accused have already been interrogated by NIA, Q Branch, Anti-Naxal Squad, Andhra Telangana Police etc. The police hope that through questioning they will be able to unravel the secrets of Maoist activities in South India.
