Thajuddin emphasized that Alam's age should not be a factor in delaying the sentence, stating, "We, the people, wanted the death penalty. We are immensely satisfied. This verdict will serve as a lesson to everyone. In such cases, swift action should be taken and he should be hanged immediately. If feasible, he should be executed today.
