THIRUVANANTHAPURAM; KSRTC has suspended four employees for serious misconduct and indiscipline. Conductor GG V Chelapuram of Perumbavoor unit, involved in the POCSO case, has been suspended pending investigation. A 16-year-old student had filed a complaint with the Aluva East police saying that she had been harrassed. After that, the conductor went into hiding and did not show up for work since October 23.

Punalur unit conductor Anil John, who allowed a passenger a free ride on the Kollam-Kayamkulam service on October 23, Vishnu S Nairey, who caused a drunken ruckus in the staff room of Kothamangalam unit on November 11, and B Vijayanpillai, conductor of Haripad unit, who misbehaved with a student of Pandalam Polytechnic College on September 19 has been suspended pending investigation.

The complaint against Vijayan Pillai is that the polytechnic student who traveled by bus from Haripad asked the conductor to get off at the Chanthiroor High School stop, but when the bus did not stop the student rang the bell himself. After this, the conductor grabbed the student's collar and behaved rudely.
