THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There will be restrictions on train traffic in the state on November 18 and 19. The control is as part of the maintenance work on the Puthukkad - Irinjalakuda section. Eight trains are completely cancelled and 12 are partially cancelled.

• Kottayam-Eranakulam Junction Express (06434)

Two long distance trains will be diverted. Friday's Gandhidam Nagercoil Express (16335) and Pune Junction Kanyakumari Express (16381) will be diverted via Pollachi - Madurai.
