KOZHIKODE: Suresh Gopi will appear today for interrogation in the case registered against him on a complaint lodged by a female journalist for misbehaving with her during a press meet. The actor, a former MP will appear as per the notice of Kozhikode Nadakkavu police.

He will reach the station as a padayatra (foot march) attended by hundreds of people. Many have come forward in support of him. BJP state president K Surendran, Shobha Surendran M T Ramesh, P K Krishnadas and many others will accompany the actor from Nadakkavu English Church to the station. He will reach the station in the morning as a padayatra.

The case was registered under section 354 A (sexual harassment against a woman). The complaint is that the actor misbehaved with the journalist when she asked a question. The statements of the journalists and the complainant present at the time of the incident had already been recorded. The police also collected the certified copy of the video.
