BENGALURU: The police have arrested an engineering student who killed his 21-year-old girlfriend by slitting her throat. The shocking incident took place in Hassan district in Karnataka. The arrested is Tejas (23). Police said that they are conducting a detailed investigation into the incident.

The deceased was also an engineering student. Both Tejas and the girl were in love. According to the police, the two used to quarrel quite often. On the day of the incident, Tejas took his girlfriend to an isolated place under the pretext of resolving the issues between them and then killed slit her throat, the police said.
