KOCHI: Police have arrested three people, including a woman, for allegedly selling drugs while staying in luxury hotels. Rijo (41) of Sajana Bhavan in Kollam's Ochira Valiyakulangara , Dino Babu (32) of Karumbath house in Kottayam's Kuruvilangad and Kannur Dharmadam resident Mridula (38) were caught by the South Police. The gang was caught in a raid on a luxury hotel in Kadavanthra on Thursday night. 19.82 grams of MDMA and 4.5 grams of hashish oil were seized. The accused were remanded.

They used to deliver drugs from Bengaluru. Trafficking and selling of drugs was carried out mainly by women. Rijo is an accused in drunkenness cases at stations like Thrikkakara, Muvattupuzha, Kothamangalam, Kozhancherry, Kanjikuzhi, Changanassery and Petta Puthoor. There are drug cases against Dino Babu, in stations like Maradu.
