KASARAGOD: The chief minister and his entourage of ministers started their journey for the Nava Kerala Sadas in the Rs one crore worth luxury bus on Saturday noon. The Nava Kerala Sadas will be inaugurated at 3.30 pm at Paivalike in Manjeswaram Mandal. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the ceremony while Revenue Minister K. Rajan will preside. The final day tour will be through Vattiyoorkavu in Thiruvananthapuram, on December 23 at 6 pm.

The Chief Minister and Ministers will tour all 140 constituencies of Kerala as part of the Nava Kerala Sadas. Freedom Fighters, Veterans, Eminent from various fields, Elected Women, Youth and College Union office bearers, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Talents, Celebrities, Award Winners, Theyyam Artists, Community Organization Leaders, and Senior Citizens Representatives will be special guests in the event.

Meetings will be held with special invitees from each constituency at 9 am except on days when cabinet meeting is held. The CM and the bevvy of other ministers will then travel to all constituencies to interact and take cognizance of the troubles faced by people in the particular region. Complaints will be accepted from three hours before the start of the Nava Kerala Sadas. The counters will function till all complaints are received. Guidelines for submitting complaints will be displayed at the counters. Separate counters will be set up for senior citizens, differently-abled and women. A system has been set up for speedy resolution of complaints received.
