AHMEDABAD: So, it is official that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive to watch the ICC Cricket World Cup final on Sunday. There were many rumours about the PM attending the game but this was now confirmed by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad at 2 PM. Bhupendra Patel announced through X that apart from Modi, the Union Ministers and the Chief Ministers of the states are expected for the World Cup final. Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles is also coming to watch the final.

According to the national media, PM Narendra Modi felt it was his responsibility to be present at the game since the Indian team reached the finals through sheer hard work and deserved more support. An aerial exercise by the Indian Air Force will also take place above the stadium just before the start of the match.

The entire nation is daydreaming the sight of Rohit Sharma kissing the World Cup trophy for the first ever time. India will face a tough hurdle as the opponent is five times world champions Australia; a team that is presently riding in confidence and also possesses sheer talents in its arsenal.
