KASARAGOD: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan reacts to the controversy over the bus used by the Chief Minister and Ministers to attend the Navakerala Sadas. The Chief Minister said that he did not understand what luxury was there on the bus and asked the media persons to get inside the bus and check what the luxury was. The Chief Minister made this demand in the opening speech of the Navakerala Sadas.

The Chief Minister invited the media to check the bus when the cabinet members were leaving to Kasaragod after the inauguration at Paivalike. 'We boarded this bus for the first time from Kasaragod guesthouse. No matter how much we checked, we could not find the luxury on the bus. However, don't stop at our checking. After this program, all of us will board the same bus from here and leave for Kasaragod. You should also board the bus after all of us have boarded. We are always keeping a good relationship with each other. Whatever news you give about us, we maintain that good relationship with you. So you come and check the inside of the bus. To know how much are these extravagant facilities? Media workers are invited for that,' the Chief Minister said.

The chief minister lashed out at the opposition and the central government. Before 2016, Keralites were deeply disappointed in all areas and if the UDF had ruled Kerala, the current change would not have happened. 'The reach of the national highway up to Chengala is being completed at a good pace. We got off the bus and saw the almost finished part. It was a refreshing sight for the eyes. This is the reason why we are a little late in coming here," the Chief Minister said at the opening ceremony.

The Chief Minister accused the Center of taking the position of financially suffocating the only Left government in India and not allowing it to continue functioning.
