CHENNAI: Actor Mansoor Ali Khan has declared that he will not issue an apology for his controversial comments about actress Trisha. Lashing out at the Nadigar Sangam ( South Indian Artistes' Association) for asking him to apologise on the issue, Mansoor said that the association made the demand without asking for an explanation from him. He also said that he would take legal action against the association if it did not withdraw the notice in four hours.

"Are rape scenes shown in cinema real? People do not understand the comical statement that I made and are turning it into a big issue. The Nadigar Sangam asked me to apologise without even asking me for an explanation. I will take legal action against it if it does not withdraw the notice in four hours," the actor said.

Mansoor Ali Khan made the controversial remark during an interview given in connection with the Tamil film 'Leo.'

"When I heard that I would be acting with Trisha in Leo, I thought there would be a bedroom scene. I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I had done many such scenes in old movies. However, these guys didn't even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule," Mansoor Ali Khan said.

Reacted strongly to Mansoor's statement, Trisha said that the remarks made by the veteran actor were disgusting and misogynistic. She also said that she would make sure that she would not act with him for the rest of her career.
