KOCHI: Two people were arrested for allegedly trying to open the emergency door of the plane. The incident happened last night on the flight from Nedumbassery airport to Bengaluru.

The two arrested are Ramuji Korail and Ramesh Kumar of Karnataka. They said that they tried to open the emergency door by mistake. The airport authorities handed them over to the Nedumbassery police.

The police informed that they pulled the door three to four times and therefore don’t think it was an accidental act. The police said the accused will be interrogated in detail.
