THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Migrant worker dies in a landslide that happened during the construction of a family health centre. The deceased was identified as Rajkumar (34), a native of West Bengal. The accident took place at Valia Veli, Thiruvananthapuram today at around 5 am.

The soil collapsed while digging the filler pit for the construction. One person survived the accident. The police and fire force worked for a long time to get Rajkumar out. Another landslide hit while trying to pull him out, hampering the rescue operation. Rajkumar's body was shifted to the hospital. The body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
