NEW DELHI: Exit poll data are beginning to surface as the assembly votes in five states came to a close. The exit poll results of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana states have come out. According to the survey by CNN-News 18, the BJP will win big in Rajasthan leaving behind the ruling Congress. As per the survey, BJP will win 111 out of 199 seats. Congress will get 74 seats. The survey also predicted that other parties will get 14 seats.
Times Now also predicted that BJP will come to power in Rajasthan. It predicted that the BJP would win 115 seats and Congress would win 65 seats in the state. Meanwhile, News18 stated that there will be a tight competition between Congress and BJP in Madhya Pradesh. According to Republic TV exit poll results, BJP will return to power in Madhya Pradesh. However, India Today and ABP predicted that Congress will continue in Chhattisgarh.
The surveys predicted that BRS and Congress will have the upper hand in Telangana. News 18 predicted that Congress will get 52 seats in Telangana. BJP would get 10 seats. The exit survey predicted that the opposition Zoram People's Movement would come to power in Mizoram. According to a News 18 survey, the MNF and Congress were expected to win 12 and 7 seats in the state, respectively, while the Zoram People's Movement was anticipated to win 20 seats. The survey predicted that the BJP would get only one seat.
