THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More details have come out regarding the suicide note written by Dr Shahana who committed suicide a few days ago. The police said that the content of the suicide note hinted that Shahana was very close to Ruwais.

'I would have backed out if this was just a normal marriage proposal. However, I can't think of anyone else in my life,' Shahana's suicide note read.

The first part of the note deals with the death of Shahana's father and the subsequent family situation. The note also mentioned about the depression Shahana experienced in the last few days. The note ends by asking if Ruwais was asking for a dowry for his sister.

The detailed suicide note was written on three OP tickets. Shahana wrote on both sides of the pink-coloured OP tickets that would be given to patients from Casualty.

Although the suicide note was found near Shahana's dead body, the Medical College did not give it much importance at first. However, the police started to go behind Ruwais after those who knew the relationship between Shahana and Ruwais put up posts about Ruwais's role on social media and Minister Veena George gave directions for an investigation.
