SULTHAN BATHERY: A woman committed suicide after killing her friend in Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad. The woman has been identified as Chandramathi (54) of Pazhari's Thottakkara, a housewife.

Police say that she committed suicide after killing her friend Beeran (58).

The police are investigating the reason behind the murder. Chandramathi's husband left them and their two children and she lived alone for some time. There are indications that there were financial transactions between Chandramathi and Beeran.

Beeran reached Chandramati's house in Pazhari on Sunday afternoon. As per the police's preliminary assumption, a dispute over financial transactions led to the murder.
