TEL AVIV: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that the current war is the starting of the end of Hamas and that it is better for them to surrender as soon as possible. Netanyahu's warning comes as fierce war between Hamas and the Israeli Defence Forces in Gaza continues for the 66th day.
"Dozens of Hamas supporters have surrendered to the Israeli army in the last few days. They are surrendering with their weapons to our brave soldiers. The war is still going on. But this will end up in their destruction. I tell Hamas to surrender without dying for Sinwar.' Netanyahu said. Netanyahu warns Hamas not to die for Yahya Sinwar territory in Gaza.
At the same time, the Israeli Defence Forces announced that a huge underground tunnel had been discovered in the Palestine Square area of Gaza. The area was completely occupied by the Israeli Defence Forces on Sunday. It was also found that many such tunnels in the area are connected to Shifa Hospital. The Israeli military said the new commander of Hamas' Shejaya Battalion was killed in an airstrike in the area on Saturday.
