BHUBANESWAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi ridiculed the seizure of Rs 360 crore from places related to Congress MP Dhiraj Sahu in Odisha. "In India, who needs 'Money Heist' fiction, when you have the Congress Party, whose heists are legendary for 70 years and counting!", he posted on X.

The BJP released a video titled "Congress presents the Money Heist" featuring Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi with the background music of the money heist.

Home Minister Amit Shah responded by saying that he now understands why the opposition is accusing the prime minister of misusing agencies and this is because they are afraid that their corruption will be exposed. Rs 360 crore rupees were seized in the raid conducted on the residences and institutions of Dhiraj Sahu. The MP is still absconding. 50 officers of SBI branches counted the money in 176 bags using 40 note counting machines.
