"They are also a hindrance to people's peaceful lives. The accused may also going into hiding", the remand report submitted CIM Abhilash at CJM court reads. But this was rejected and all the 5 accused were granted bail.
The governor, on his way to airport, was stopped near Pettah Kerala Kaumudi junction by ten SFI members as they protested with black flags. The governor was stopped by ignoring the order of the police. CPOs Rahul, Vinod, Senior CPO Meena S Nair and 3 policemen from the district police headquarters were on security duty. 5 suspects and 10 identifiable persons blocked the convoy of the governor. 10 people fled from the spot.
