THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Travancore Devaswom Board President PS Prashanth said in a press conference that there have been failures in Sabarimala and the crisis will be resolved within two days.

The allegation that no arrangements have been made is politically motivated. The failures have been raised in the respective departments.

Seven thousand vehicles can be parked at Nilakkal. It is true that there are parking problems there. Separate security personnel will be assigned for parking arrangements.

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are usually crowded. The darshan time was increased by one hour to 18 hours to overcome the crisis. A dynamic queue system has been introduced unlike in the past. Around 4500 people can be accommodated in the queue complex. Spot booking will be controlled to manage congestion but it can't be completely avoided.

There are plans to increase the number of people assigned to move the people through Pathinettampadi. More number of women, children and disabled people are reaching Sabarimala than in previous years. KSRTC has been asked to increase the number of buses to solve the shortage of vehicles.

Food distribution is going smoothly in Annadana Mandapam. Snacks and water are being provided. He said that maximum facilities have been ensured with the cooperation of various departments.
