NEW DELHI: Before the security breach at Parliament, Sagar Sharma, one of the accused, wrote on Instagram that making an effort is important regardless of victory or defeat. He also posted another post saying that if you want to achieve your dreams, you have to work hard.
"Jeete ya hare, par koshish to zaruri hai" (Making an effort is important whether you win or lose)., Sagar's Instagram status reads.
Another accused, Neelam Azad, was active on social media till November 11. Her last post criticized the lack of women members in the legislature and parliament. "Women should have a 50 per cent reservation in Parliament and the Legislative Assembly. In Haryana, there is a 50 per cent reservation for women in Gram Panchayats, so why not in the Parliament and Legislative Assembly?", her post on X reads.
Before this post, she was active on X in June when she shared a post on the attack on Chandrashekhar Azad, leader of the Bhim Army and the President of the Azad Samaj Party.
"By attacking bhai (brother) Chandershekhar Azad, it has been proven that whoever raises the voice for the rights of the Dalits and the underprivileged can be killed to suppress their voice. Democracy is being murdered. Criminals should be given strict punishment, (Azad) should be given security.", she wrote on X.
