CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government is gearing up to hold a massive public outreach programme on the model of the Nava Kerala Sadas. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will inaugurate the scheme named 'Makkaludan Mudhalvar' in Coimbatore on Monday.
Under the scheme, special camps will be held in urban and rural bodies from December 18 to January 6 to redress the grievances of the people. The supervision of the districts has been entrusted to individual ministers. Key officials of the departments will attend the camps. The aim is to solve people's problems as soon as possible. It is not clear whether meetings with prominent personalities from various fields will also be part of the public outreach program in Tamil Nadu.
