WASHINGTON: A woman from USA took service from the controversial app ‘Life 360’ to track down her son, who she later found was having intercourse with his teacher. Teacher Gabriela Cartaya Neufeld (26) has been arrested by the police for inciting an 18-year-old into coitus.
Launched in 2008, the ‘Life 360’ app helps track the location of people in the contact list which can range from family to friends to strangers. The woman got a notification from the app telling that her son was in Park Road. When the woman arrived at the location, she saw her son and Neufeld having intercourse in the car. She immediately captured the footage of the vehicle and handed it over to the police officers. A case was registered against Neufeld on the woman's complaint.
The woman was perturbed for some time after she learned about her son missing attendance in school. It was only recently that she doubted his relationship with teacher Neufeld. The police said that Neufeld, who is a science teacher had taken the student to various places including her mother’s home for intercourse. Neufeld, who was remanded for a month, was later granted bail.
