IDUKKI: KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that there will be retaliation if KSU and Youth Congress workers are beaten again. He told the media in Idukki that the protest was natural and he was ashamed that the Chief Minister and he belonged to the same native place.
"The opposition has the right to point out the mistakes of any minister and administration. What democracy exists here if there is no right to protest? Did they go to beat the Chief Minister with a stick or throw stones at him? Why are the people of CPM showing such prowess against black flag protests? If there is no right to protest, Kerala should be declared as a state under Pinarayi Vijayan's dictatorship," said Sudhakaran.
At the same time, the Congress has decided to intensify its protest against the action of the chief minister's bodyguard and the police who beat the workers who showed black flags against the Navakerala sadas. As part of this, a march will be held to all police stations in Kerala on the 20th of this month. The KPCC president requested all the leaders and workers of the Congress, Youth Congress, KSU, Mahila Congress and other subsidiary organizations to participate in the march.
