KOLLAM: The Kerala High Court had the other day denied permission to hold the Nava Kerala Sadas at the Chakkuvalli Temple Grounds. Meanwhile, a Ganapati Homam was performed in the same temple in the name of the chief minister. The image of the offering in the Chakkuvalli temple under the Travancore Devaswom Board is circulating on social media.


The offering was made in the name of the chief minister while the Nava Kerala Sadas was going to be held in Kollam today. The famous Chakkuvalli temple is located in the Kunnathur constituency of the district. The Hindu Aikya Vedi approached the court against Nava Kerala Sadas being held here.


The morning meet of Nava Kerala Sadas with invitees will be held at Kottarakkara Jubilee Mandir tomorrow morning. A press meet will be followed. The first meeting of the district will be held at Pathanapuram NSS ground on 11th. The meeting will be held at Punalur Municipal Stadium at 3 pm and at Kottarakkara Jubilee Mandir at 4.30 pm. The last meeting on the first day will be held at the old cashew factory premises near Chakkuvalli Devaswom Board School at 6 pm.


The morning meet will be held at Kollam Beach Hotel tomorrow at 9 am in the presence of invitees. A press meet will be followed. The first meet at Karunagapally H&J Mall ground at 11 am. The meeting will be held at Chavara KML ground at 3 pm. The meeting at Kundara will be held at Kundara Ceramics ground at 4 pm. The final sadas of the second day will be held at the Ashramam Prashanthi Gardens grounds.


On the morning of the third day on December 20, the Cabinet will meet at the Beach Hotel. The first sadas will be at Cantonment ground at 11 am. The sadas will be at 3 pm at Kadakkal. The last sadas in the district is at Chathannoor Spinning Mill Ground at 4.30 pm.
