NEW DELHI: Underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim has been admitted to a hospital in Karachi, Pakistan amid reports suggesting serious health concerns. Contrary to circulating rumours about his demise, close confidant Chhota Shakeel has vehemently refuted these claims asserting that Dawood Ibrahim is "1000 percent healthy."

Addressing national media, Shakeel dismissed the baseless rumours citing his recent visit to Ibrahim in Pakistan, where he found him in good condition. The speculation surrounding Ibrahim's alleged poisoning was debunked by intelligence officials who highlighted the constant 24-hour security surveillance by Ibrahim's loyal associates and ISI agents.

Authorities confirmed Ibrahim's hospitalization two days ago prompting tightened security measures at the medical facility. Exclusive access has been granted solely to senior medical practitioners and immediate family members. Notably, patients sharing the hospital floor with Ibrahim were relocated to ensure heightened privacy and security.

Inquiries by the Mumbai Police have been directed towards Ibrahim's relatives, Alisha Parker and Sajid Wagle seeking additional information on his condition.
